San Miguel de Allende, located in the hills of central Mexico is a quaint colonial style town that opens its arms to Americans and especially artists.  Early on in my art journey, I visited on a Jane E. Jones Workshop.  Even though I struggled as a beginning artist and was challenged to draw in ink and even at night, I always hoped I could return.  Opportunity to travel with three other artists came just a few years ago and it was awesome!  We had such a good time savoring the sights and sounds, painting and sketching and growing friendships.  Adventure....always good to try it!
